Hey, first of all, thanks for reading my lousy translation. To be honest, I’d really like it if you guys corrected the mistakes I made. But please speak nicely and politely. My heart is not strong enough to read your too-harsh comments. Have a nice day.
Perhaps you can change “Song dynasty” to something🤔

Hm. I wonder if Yuan Yi was the “bully” she encountered while trying to jump the wall? He seems to have some impression of her in connection with high school.
I’m also curious about her name. I get that she changed to her mom’s surname after the divorce, but her name in HS was Song Yan, and now it is Yan Xi. Not seeing how her name is written…was her original name a mash up of her parents’ names?

There’s no specific details about her name. (as far as I remember) but, my memory can’t be trust 100%.
She change her name for legal reason. To inherit the property and all assets of her late mother.
Ah, but you theory probably right. Song Yan is a mash up of her parents name. Btw, the Xi meaning : to connect, to relate to, to bind, to tie up.
So Yan Xi can be interpret with the meaning = To connect/relate/bind with Yan (her late mother).

Have no problem with your friend’s translation except for the font and the webpage background, it’s making it harder to read the texts
