When a Script Writer, Succeeded in Developing a Novel into Series #Part3

5 Series based on website-novel, but I like the series version more than the original novel.

After the previous two parts that discussed about Yang Zi and Zhao Liying. This article will discuss the series starring Zheng Shuang. For some reason, despite the big scandal she experienced last January and May, I still adore her.

I tried to find reasons, why i can last this strongly to like her, you could say it’s unwavering. To be honest, she is not an artist who has a sweet personality or the type of role model. She is an artist for at least one month, there must be some controversy that is reported about her (when she is still active in the c-entertainment).

Love 020 is a series that made me like her as an artist, continued when watching the variety show Divas hit the road. How shocked I was when I found out, she was very different from the character she played as Bei Weiwei.

In that variety show, she really is a person- how to mention… The point is when traveling with this type of person, you will be frustrated yourself. She is the type who will trouble herself, even though the things she does can be done together, she is not the communicative and assertive type. Stiff and quiet, oh with a deadpan expression.

Maybe.. maybe, because of that too. My like, which is at an ordinary level, persists regardless of any scandals that she experiences.

But, the thing is- she’s really pretty. Seeing her photo when she smiles, transmits a small happiness to me.

Overall Evaluation

Acting Cast : 9/10

1. [+] The acting of all the cast is really believe-able, an expression that is very common to be found around, on the faces of people we know. Well, this series is about the drama of college students’ lives, so it’s only natural that all the cast act as normal as possible without having too much emotional range.
2. [-] Because the scenario has normal tone acting, the cast’s ability can’t be judged professionally either.

Music : 7/10

• [+] There are some songs that are ear catching, but not at the level I want to repeat on youtube.

My Opinion!

The plot in the web novel is too short compared to the series, Bei Weiwei already feels too sub-missive in the series, even more so in the novel. I know Xiao Nai is too charming, but girls should still have personality.

The essence of the story is sweet, healthy dating relationships, solid friendships for the male lead friends and a little drama from the female lead friends.

Honestly, I hope that the second male lead is Xiao Nai bestfriend’s. The glasses man, He’s better off being a second villain, it is enough and suit him better.
